Has anyone ever done this, have a clue how to get the damn thing out?

I've tried using various tools to pull the fecker out.

I don't really want to pay loads for the proper tool from a Peugeot dealer, besides they're not open until Monday now. :(

HELP!

NO BEAN DONT DO IT!!!!!!!

A mate of mine has a pug 307 and we took the stereo out to wire in some 6x9's...... cut one wire on that loom and the car immobilises itself and all the mechanics go up the wall!!!!!

ended up costing him £600+ for a new loom - not cheap..... much better to get pug to do whatever it is ur planning!

speak to H, he works in a pug garage IIRC..... :)

It's a be-hatch isn't it because you can't see where the levers are.

Got mine out with a couple of screw drivers - did scratch the suround though.
Trying to remember now? 90% sure there are 2 on the bottom evenly spaced. Could well be wrong!!! COuld be on top as well? Memory like a fish!
Jam two screw drivers in and tug - it comes out in the end.

Or just take it to the Pug dealer - borrow the key off them - think it looks just like a screw driver though!

If you want a bloody sexy rear shelf check out the ad below:

Professional custom built/sculpted twin layer mdf shelf finished in matt black paint for Pug 306. With 6x9 holes.

Great looks/ sound/ build quality!
Not stealth, didn't want to cover in carpet after seeing it!

Car sold a couple of weeks before finishing so it's in top condition.

£55 (much cheaper than the basic stealth shelf!)

Pics available on request.
Cheers

Hows that?! It's sitting in the garage at the moment.

I don't intend on cutting any wires, just want to remove the factory fitted stereo and fit a newer Sony one.

I'll see what I can do with a couple of screwdrivers then.

J> Thanks for the offer but the cars' not mine, I don't think the parcel shelf would last long in London either.

Bean A 306 isnt too much of a problem it just depends on what type of stereo is in it Clarion or blaupunkt. The best idea is to shoot into a Pug dealer with it and they will use two keys to pull the stereo. Don't buy the keys though as it could cost you £30 just for them. If you want to replace the stereo you need a din size replacement panel. Pug do sell this (alot cheaper than most) for about £2.50 honestly!!! The part No. is 8212HZ
Hope that helps
H:)
