Just got in from Oldham, and spoke to my next neighbour.

He said to me "did they get yours, too?"

I reply with a somewhat blank look, and he points to the side of his car, I tootle around to the other side to see a 2ft long, REALLY deep scratch down the side of his little cinquecento..

"They got your mums, too. looks like they did everybody on the road.. ****ing kids.."

So I went and had a look at mine.. nope.. no new scratches at all...

"They must've seen and thought they'd already done yours, then... *******s.."

Me.. "yeah, damn them.."

/gets inside..

" :D :D :D :D :D :D :D "

So, thank YOU Mr Swindon hooligan, for saving me from the hands of Oldhams finest tosspots.

I'm waiting for my mum to get home so I can have a look at her car, she probably hasn't even noticed yet. Going by the damage to the cinquecento it may not be pretty :(

My car is in the garage, covered by the house alarm. talks if anyone goes near it, Andy's car is parked in front.
As Andy doesn't want a divorce yet, I think I'm fairly safe. :p :D

little ****s. bad parenting strikes again. lets give them MORE tax credits. grrr :rage:

still, people leave my cars alone cos i look like i dont give a toss about them (haven't washed the tvr in 6 months and the 200 since i bought it). I recall once I was washing my car and some kids walked by... one kids remarked "we'll put a brick through his window" and chortled. so my theory seems to work then.

it really will come to a point when good citizens will take up arms. cos the police are too busy working out how to ask for a 40% pay rise to patrol our streets, when they're not persecuting drivers.
