Anyone from the SW help?

was wondering if anyone could come and help me with my 200sx? the engine has blown and i'm wondering if anyone could come down and confirl this and just give it a quick glance over to check things are all ok and in order?

also if it needs a new engine would someone be willing ti help me fit it?

Have you rang the guy you got it from see if he will go halves on the labour and parts????

The seller must have had some idea that this would happen. Sorry to hear it with only having the car a short while but wait till it sorted you'll love it:nod: :thumbs:
Stay on thios board as they are all friendly and the knoledge these guy have is excellent.

Sure i can come down and help you if the engine needs pulling out. I'm not familiar with the s13 layout, but i'm sure it isn't 'too' dissimilar to the s14 etc.

Do you have your own tools?

didnt you check the car over before you got it?
if you did and you didnt suspect and engine problems then why would the seller have any reason to expect there was any trouble?

i'm oin the search for an engine now! like i say i'm hoping to put it in and take it out myself, might even put it in the garage and get it ready - start stripping it down

yes Scougar i do have my own tools! so thats not a problem ,i also have an engine crane! so thats sorted!

yea, i have a garage to work under, or if that fails i have a huge cover that will extend from my fence over to the road, so plenty off cover matey

Its really not that bad whats happened to you. Well it is but engines can be had for peanuts and swapped easily.

Sxoc is full of engines. Pretty much the only car site where i've found this.

well the engine i've found seams pretty good! it's had loads of work done by nissan, and it's all from back up till 1992. and had a rebulid buying it from cieran........

You'll be back on the road in no time. I had my engine last 3 months then ****ed up. Cost me £400 all in for a 50k engine and turbo. :)

thats cheap, this is £500 without a turbo - but then i think mines fine as the smoke wasn'tthe turbo as we now know lol
