Today at about lunch-time spotted a Damson/purple S14a heading from the Blackrock end of Deansgrange through the lights at The Grange pub towards the Clonkeen Road. Standard-looking UK-spec including black front splitter, I think the reg was 99-D-7010? Not sure if it was 97/99? Again, typically when I see another 200SX... I was in the fuppin Skoda..! :cry:

Strangely saw a black 14a drifting roundabouts at the Kildare Outlet Shop place a couple of months back, stopped for a chat and he'd just bought he car.
Must be something to do with that colour ;)
we have had sightings alright, white rims, an apparently nearly made a full lap of the roundabout - broad daylight, lunatic - i love it :)

Ya I was there alright and I had a black 14a on uk plates with me aswell. I don't remember seeing a white 14a though.
Well the three i saw were leaving at 9.30 so maybe they never came back?
Actually just thought, that was us. We only got their at about 9.30. There was a white one infront of me (had nothing to do with us, just conincedence) and the black one behind me. We came from the roundabout down past Woddies and went straight past. Me and the black one turned and came back up and parked up. Not too sure what happened the other one. The white one had been stopped by the van then he took off, we both passed the van and he drove on behind us. The van turned around fairly quickly but we turned further up the road.
Ah-ha, you didn't happen to notice a red S14a coming the other way before you turned around no? That was me anyway :thumbs:
I didn't. My missus said something about one alright but I was doing a bit of mirror driving seeing what the van was doing. Bugger.
today at 2pm ,blue sapphire s14a , drivin down iona road ,glasnevin ,heading for drumcondra didnt catch the reg though as i dragged myself from under a celica gt4 doing the brakes . Any who was it you.

It isn't the safest place for cars,on my misuss' Corolla there's a new scratch every week :mad:
I keep the SX in Qpark during the weekend though (lots of drunk people around Cornmarket St Friday and Saturday night :D )

So far the car is standard except an Apex induction,Apex downpipe,sports cat and the Mongoose catback.I'm sorting out the brakes at the moment (Brembo discs and Porterfield R4S pads) and the pineapple rings,oil pressure gauge,knockmeter,colder plugs,fuel pump --> safety mods first :D .The plans for the near future are the rest of the stage 2 mods (I've bought the Nismo 555s already).

:thumbs: Very similar to my own, i presume you've got some form of boost controller too.... doing my brakes at the moment too, going for those brembo slotted disks and ferodo ds2500 pads, with some nice braided hoses to take the sponge out from under the pedal..:)

I've set my eyes on the Turbotech MBC from Oz.It's got very good reviews on the oz skyline forum.Rock steady boost level,no spikes.It's only 25 AUD :)
mines an apex one and i use one in the car too, and it's fine.

Blue s14a parked drivers wheels to the kerb (outside a shop) either on Cork street or Kevin Street last week Wednesday or Thursday about 6pm.
BTW I am looking for flats in the city with parking if anyone has any contacts!

Still carless at the moment will rent a place with underground parking for when I do get something. Staying in a posh company flat on the quays at the moment!
Not sure what I am going to get yet its such a hassle with insurance on UK cars over here. Or pay the VRT and put ROI Plates on something. I think I have a plan tho. UK car for 12 months then reregister it after that.
Will let you know when I sort something out.

You'll still have to prove that you have lived in the Uk for 12months to do that ie bank statement, bills, payslips etc. It's not the case of owning a UK car for 12mths:no: They are really clamping down on way's around the VRT:nod:
Like i said I'd owned my car for 6yrs and lived in the UK for 28yrs and they still wanted to see every bank statement for over a year before I moved to Ireland. Im affraid there is no way around it just get a UK or Jap import and pay the VRT is still works out cheaper:nod:

Was at a japanese car meet in hollywood exchange on thursday night, two stunning cars that i was wondering if theyre off here:
Red s14a, absolutely stunning with full kit, no spoiler and black and polished lip rims :eek: and also a white s15, both cars were fantastic looking, the highlight of the meet for me i think, along with the ps13 of s13rabs? if the cars still owned by him.

White S14a at 11pm-ish last night. It was a few miles outside of a town in County Wexford (can't remember the name to save my life but coming from the Dublin direction you have to cross a bridge in it to take you over to the other side of the river, then you can either go straight to Rosslare/Wexford or go the other road to Wexford & Waterford back across the far bridge) It turned out from the side of the main road & headed towards the next town north of Wexford.

I can't recall it as I was driving uphill towards Mahon Point so I've seen the car only for a glance
Last Sunday (11th) - Spotted a standard-looking at a glance Damson S14a on the South-side of Inch heading South (PB_S14 / IrishPaddy?), then 2 seconds later an older S13, ("pre-facelift?" Like the one above lads! :p) white, with the centre-grill missing & what looked at a glance like a drift-style body kit.

Probably quite a lot if they went to the expense of fitting a 14a front-end. Are you sure someone doesn't just have a 14a with 14 rear cluster? Or do they fit like that?
I just thought it was a jap import TBH as the s14a came in white in Japland. The car jsut doesn't look right to me for some reason. May be because I don't really like bodykits, as Im getting old and boring:(

Its definatly a S14 witha 14a front. IIRC its a 95/96 so it is a 14. But yes the rear lights are a direct swap. TBH I don't want to say what I think until I see it up close and have a proper look.

Saturday 21st April - spotted a Carlow S14 with lexus rear on it pulled over at the side of the N7! :( About 4pm-ish heading away from Dublin.
While in Newbridge saw Roger's old Turquoise Dublin-reg S14 driving around Newbridge town on the new Rotas! :smitten: Very nice!
On the way back towards Dublin at about 6-7pm saw a bluey-green S14 sitting at the side of the road with a blonde lady who just got out of the car & walked around the back of it - also along the N7 (3-lane stretch). Dublin reg I think.
Myself (Red S14a), Raytsang (Blue S15) & Wratch (Midnight Purple S13) passed & saw all 3! :sxoc:

1st time was at about 19:10 on D'olier St/Collage St he was going around by Trinity Collage.
