Driving to uni this morning, the bloody thing started to take a bit of boost to move it as i was going up the Manadon roundabout slip road, car still pulling left and right and i think i've got a bloody puncture in morning traffic.
Pull over and in front of some scholl off the roundabout where i find my front left wheel burning hot, damn caliper has seized hasn't it !!!
So now the cars been left there while i caught a bus to uni.
Has any one got a drivers side caliper i can borrow to get her running while i sort my fooked caliper out? :notworthy

Until then, it's very easy to take the caliper off and see if you can free those pistons. You may find it's only one that's binding and if you lift the dust seal, lubricate it with brake fluid you may find it goes back in okay. That will keep you mobile until you can get a refurb kit.
It may also just be really dusty and need a good clean.
Got mine off the Silvia... no pads thou!
I can rebuild or unseize your if you want??? drop it round !
he might have a problem dropping it round to you if he has to take the caliper off the car, i wouldnt fancy driving with one front caliper :wack:
:D
Hang on a sec............ my memory isn't fantastic, but something about channie and calipers springs to mind.......:wack:

Ok, i've been a naughty boy and bought a BMW M3 big brake conversion kit with porterfield pads :D
All for a better price than Brembo 10 groove discs :wack: :D
