View Full Version : What would cause the battery light to come on at 4k revs, or when accel.?

Best friend has a Saxo VTS, and he's asked me to try and see if any of your mechanically minded folk, have any ideas;

Basically his battery light comes on, under heavy load, when accelerating, or around 4k rpm..

Any thoughts, please?

Slipping alternator belt, bad connections on the alternator, bad earth????

He's only had it six months, done 10k in it.. Oh dear..
