nice! looks good as it is. the wheels are the right size for the size of the car I think. Amazing how cheap they are now... last time I was in the market for a hot hatch and looked at one of those it was going for £3500... out of my budget :/

at least u will be able to build up a bit of no claims bonus, and clock up a couple of years in age so next time u get a 200 it will be well cheap. just remember to leave earlier for your appointments

Just really need to speed up getting the S13 sorted, then we'll be on the move. Other option is to try and borrow £900 from someone, then pay them back once the 200 is sold.. anyone? :D

That dont sound a bad deal, i remember a couple of years ago when i sold mine i got 4K for it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Revlimiter at just over 9000rpm mmmm those were the days it really used to scream, probaly why it cost me £700 for a new box the car had only done 50k.

Thought I'd reply to the thread :)

Thats wicked news. V good value mate. Mileage doesn't matter with these cars as long as they've had regular oil changes and haven't been left sitting. Mines on 143k and still going strong (see rolling road result :p )

Check for rust at the top of the windscreen (they'll all have this) wheelarches and make sure the spare tyre well isn't full of water :eek: Make sure the rear washer works (it's an absolute ******* to fix). Check bonnet shut lines match up, lots have been smashed! The interior will squeak a little (very cheap plastic). Obviously check for a VERY VERY shiney steering wheel / fecked drivers seat. If theres ANYTHING wrong point it out. Suzuki main dealer prices are fecking ridiculous, think Nissan + 20%. Quote those prices to knock money off ;)

Parcel Shelf Strings : £6.50 :eek:
Standard suspension : £600 :eek:
Standard front pads :£55

etc :)

If you want it checked out properly get in touch. I know a bloke who does health checks on cars for Green Flag (but he does it on his own time too). He checked out my 200 when I got it and my mates Prelude and so far scored top marks (nothings fallen off either!:D ) Think it cost about £80. Anyway if you want his number PM me. I think he's based in Rochdale but obviously he's mobile and has a van full of gear. Def worth the peace of mind matey.
