I am/was never got round to owning one though :(
Debating wether to a one or a Volvo 480 for me girlfried / 2nd car :p

Its taken 3 years to get as far as the pics in my website although nothing was done for the last year. Every penny I've earned has went on this until I got a 200. The engines still in the states but its got a T04 and external wastegate waiting for it.
I've gotta come and see it if you ever get it finished :p

Yeah, i used to be heavily into vws, then got sick of the scene and all tha associated problems.
If you want some stuff, I@ve got a garage full inc a 68 shell that needs one bit of welding. Come and collect - its yours for free!!!

Dam I wish I had a gargae :( Id rent a lockup but they are like gold dust round here....
What were the probs with the VW seane? I never got that envolved, not haveing one and all that..
it`s been taken over by baseball cap wearing ravers:mad: :mad: last time i went to Bug Jam at Santa Pod 2years ago they decided to change the layout and put camping on one side of the strip and all the dance tents on the other,which meant security were being heavily streached trying to stop people going on the strip,chucking bog roll all over it,pissing on it and throwing up on it:mad: :mad: :mad: fcuking tw@ts:mad: the next day people were doing 170+mph on it!! why do some people have no brains:confused:

It had been taken over by ravers for a few years, but its getting better again, thing that pisses me off is for the last 3 or 4 years I haven't been going in a VW which has them looking down their noses at you, I've probablly owned and still own more VW's than half of them. I ain't gonna forget that when I turn up in my Bug when its finnished and they all want to talk to me about it.
One thing you guys must miss is the 'Bug jam face' and the toilets.

i always come back filthy!! tinkering around with dubs can get rather dirty:D
and there has been a distinct lack of sun the past few years, it used to be no matter what the weather was like when i left home it was sunny at the pod:)

Every time I go to Santa Pod I come home with sunburn, dosen't matter if its sunny or not, must be us scottish folk not used to direct sunlight.:D
last time i went i got sunburnt on the way up there(was in my beach buggy:cool: ) and then froze on saturday coz it was overcast:mad: still made some good times coz of the weather:D
