200sx searching!!

I'm gonna have a look at a 200sx this saturday.

It's 2000 on a V reg in dark metallic green. It has 28k on the clock with the full touring pack. It comes with cream leather.

Anything in particular that i should look out for lads??

can only suggest that you check that it has had regular oil changes between the services (every 6k) if its more often then thats better, most people on this board tend to change oil every 3k. if it is a 2000 v reg then it will soon need an mot V changed to W at the end of Feb 2000. bonus is that it will still be covered by nissan 3yrs 60000 miles warranty. good luck

Its in Banbury (near birmingham).

It's had a ver light tap in the front. Needs a bumper, drivers side wing and headlight, bonnet and a front pannel.

Does anyone know where I can get these bits possibly second hand ones (don't fancy brand new nissan prices!!).

I know is had a bump but then for £2k what can you expect?!

I know what i'm looking at when it comes to accident damaged cars cos i've repaired just a few but i'm not up on the prices of parts.

Will probably give Nissan in Skewen a try just for prices when I get back - always worth a laugh!!

Answer, "...We'll have to order that from Japan sir, will be a minimum of 3 weeks..."
FFS it was only a toe adjust washer and a subframe stay. Useless, and very expensive.

Maybe you should spend a few K and put an S15 (strawberry face)front on it. :)

Looks a bit like this I imagine, not sure id the nose is the same, prolly not, but wings, bonnet and lights are I think.

I'd absolutely love an s15.

Saw one of them up in trax this year - funkin lovely.

6 speed box and a pillar mounted boost gauge as standard!!

Just to let you know this car was a dog!!

Both air bags had gone of - wiped out most of the dashboard which had come apart.

The passenger side front end was flat back as far as the front suspension leg.

It needed a passenger side door.

And the milage was 54k and not 28k - and guess what he said??

'What do you expect for 2K?' - Well what it said in the advert would be nice!!

What a waste of a day - 4 hour drive each way. :mad:
