The micra got hit by a coffin dodger as Sarah exited a roundabout , n/s/r quarter panel is flattened and the 180 degree spin she done was pretty spectacular too according to the witnesses :D
a new matching carbon door to go with the bonnet and it will be good as new :wack:

She was taken straight to hospital in an ambulance that was called by a paramedic who witnessed the accident :wack: The other main witness is also one of my customers :D Theres no disputing the codger being at fault so the claim should be fairly straight forward :thumbs:

The insurance company can offer as little as they like but until the claim is settled the car will not be released from storage @ £15 a day ;)

Well the assessor came to inspect the micra today and he seems to think it's a write off :rolleyes:
The plans for the micra replacement (2.2 vtec prelude) were scuppered when we discovered that Sarahs insurance would quadrouple so i've started thinking along different lines tho i am still open to suggestions :thumbs:
Chris - When i get the GTR on the road i'll have a nice 98 Mazda 323 1.5GL spare. Its a decent little car - not same league as a prelude of course but a whole load cheaper on petrol insurance and buying it :D

no news from our solicitor yet but the car is still here in storage and cannot be released until 08/01/2007 at the earliest :indiff:
