Hi all,
I'm Jim and byebyegti's stepdad as well as his spannerman.
I'm an old git of 47 and have a passion for all things automotive. I run a red Peugeot 205 GTi for enjoyment. The GTi has been an excellent tool for honing all sorts of engineering skills which are now finding good use on a particular Damson 200SX.
I have grown very fond of byebyegti's 200SX and have got rather interested in them myself. I'm being slowly talked into getting an S13.
I trust you'll forgive me both for being old and a Pug owner (not to mention a Citroen too) but I do have a genuine and growing interest in these Nissans and one day, who knows, I may have one myself...

Old and a pug owner.......?
  A fine combination feller, so welcome. I think you'll find many SXOC members have fond memories of 205 GTI ownership, I'm even considering buying on as a track day tool. I personally have owned two, both 1.9s
S13's are great cars.. cheap as chips to buy now, but be careful of the old tin worm, they do seem to be suffering these days. I loved mine and only sold it sold it to fund a house purchase. I bought a 205 as a run about
Hope you find this forum useful.

welcome!
An s13 is a great car as long as you are good with a spanner! there are plenty of us around these ways that know the s13 very well!
I think you'll fit in round here

You're not the oldest around here by a long way and seeing as I'm a 30 year old part Pug owner (my other half owns a 206 GTi:rolleyes: ) I can tell you've got good taste, if I had the choice I'd get a good 205 in an instant:nod:
Hope you enjoy it here:thumbs:

As an ex-pug and ex-s13 owner who is the wrong side of the big 4 0 may i bid you an especially warm welcome. The 205 is a great scrabble wagon (even if i find it hard to keep the inside back wheel on the floor),and a clean non rusty s13 is a myth these days(at least for a price less that a mondeo(s14)chav mobile-flame suit on-)i hope you do find a good one:nod:

Thanks all for the very warm welcome :) All I can say is :sxoc: and :notworthy
I've been busy this evening doing a repair to byebyegti's cracked WMIC elbow. Looks like I might mave made a temporary repair at any rate. I'll be posting what I did in a bit. Most likely old hat to a lot of you but I have thoroughly enjoyed the job.
Tomorrow we'll see if it works ;)
Pleased the Pug is welcome here. I love it to bits. Here is a pic of it..

There are still good S13's around, I sold one recently that had no rust at all(wish I hadn't:cry:   ).
Welcome to sxoc
