GTA3 help needed PLEASE!

I am trying to rescue the girl from the Mexican dudes at Cochrane dam on the third island. I've tried everything I can think of. I can get in past the entrance guards by going and getting some petrol bombs and frame throwers from behind the police station (coz they take all your weapons away) and toasting them but the guards infront of the dam blow me to 5h1t when I get near them!:mad: How do I get past them and on to the helipad??????? Are my weapons hidden anywhere or can I get some new ones easy? Is there a car that withstands the heavy machine gun fire better or is there a secret entrance to the dam??HELP ME!!!!:mad:

Go back to island 2 to the armory and get the sniper rifle.

Theres a sniper rifle hidden on the approach road to the dam (ie after you've fried the first guys but before you reach any others at the dam itself) in the trees on the right. If you're careful with your shots, you have enough ammo to use it to destroy the big truck from one of the watchtowers as well (you'll see what I mean).

I just shot the gate guards with an uzi, got the sniper rifle behind the trees, uzi'ed the 3 near guards and snipered the two far high up ones. I then used the AK47 and the other machine gun and wiped everyone out, including Maria on my first go!!!:o
I'm doing the "gone in 60 seconds" type mission to collect the cars now. Where the hell do you find the BF injection? I don't think I have ever seen one??:confused:

u get it on the first island where you do that thingy race. I only found it by fluke. Apparently its really good, but i think its crap, i like the little sports cars, and a flat bed, they make me smile when running everything over :)
