Free  no chance
my missus says
If you turn right down the bottom of Park Street (a couple of roads before the Marriot) there is a little open air car park there. It is pretty cheap too, a few quid for all day on a Saturday, not sure how much during the week. The spaces are tight though, you wouldn’t want to put a nice car in there!!! xxx
failing that you can go to one of the NCP car parks but I wouldn't call them cheap. Unless you're working odd hours or need to be able to get places you might be better off on a bus

Was hopeing some one new of some roads in say clifton or southville and then i can walk in.

I drive a clio.... its not the niceist car on the planet.... and the bus is £4.20 and its £6 in the trenchard Street NCP would be better off parking there.

I always find Clifton a nightmare to find any parking (seems to be a case of driving round for ages till you find a free spot).
Just off Whiteladies isn't too bad but I guess the walk is a little further

Where in the city centre. There's loads of parking round the back of temple meads until 8am and only 5 min walk to broadmeads 15 to corn street.

I'll be working in Queens Square.
A mate of mine parks in Old Market for cheap / free (forget which). Apparently it's dodgy as fook there though :( He bought a £200 Honda Concerto just so he could park there without worrying too much. I can still find out for you if you like though :)

If you're only in Bradley Stoke then ride your bike in
Much cheaper than the bus, and probably quicker than anything barring a moped
(And before you ask, yes I did used to do that myself when I had to work in the center :p )
Oh, and don't trust Jeff - I tryed to get moral support from him earlier today, and he has only compounded my dilemmas.... :wack:

Hasn't that carpark and area been demolished for the redevelopment
I am screwing myself by mentioning this cos i park there, although i have been considered important enough to get an allocated space for the past month is queen charlotte street car park which is way overpriced!
I use to park on Jacobs Wells Road, or around Constitution Hill, at 8am you will get a parking space quite easily, and if it happens to be at the top you'll get a bit fitter too
Train from parkway is about £3 i think.
