So did anyone from here go? I saw an orange S13 on the track drifting about, I kept thinking please dont smash it up.. sure enough it lost it as some point and the rear end attacked a barrier and was towed off.
Saw a couple of S12's parked about
Couple of S14's dark one and a red one possibly another.
Couple of S13's parked around red one and blueish one, dark pre-facelift... poss another.

Was surprising to see a very shiny BMW drifting round the track, either very brave or not too short on cash :)

Dissappointed to not see the S12's or S13's on the track from last week :(

I went, I was in my multi-coloured PS13. I left when the AX with Viper stripes went on the track.

I was there in my red s14.

wasn't bad but was hopin for more jap stuff. we were there really early and saw the grey s13 givin it some. pretty damn skilled imo, then in thrue s13 style it coughed out more smoke from its exhaust than a 'stars in their eyes' special.

orange s13 again did well it it followed suit and died, didnt see it hit the barrier though? i was at apex of the 'burger van' corner.

felt really sorry for the beemer driver too :( and OMG at the 'new' beemer giving it beef. (was it m3?)

apart from that was generally ok. first time ive been to a matchams jobbie, once I been on a few non-barriered drift days ill get out ther in mine. :)

see u next wednesday.

 sounds like one of my mates was on track then,

i know its a crap car:nod: , it was done as a piss take, the stripes were duck tape and when he pulled them off it left the glue.:wack:

that is what you have to drive when you get banned from driving, for having a car pull out infront of you whilst doing 140mph and hitting the back of it still doing 120mph

no one was hurt but hes learnt the hard way no car and sky high insurance, 2k third party on a 1ltr ax how bout that for a stitch

hes got a 1.5lsi civic that we are putting the 1.6 twin cam lump in that has the usuall mods and mugen chip,

the old coupe the lump is coming out from was rapid and be even quicker in the hatch back abit more respectable:smash:

Hrmm assume it was you who parked next to me then.. unless there were 2 red S14's, did you move your car up to the other corner? (nr the Civic Type R)

The shiny BMW going round was quite worrying guy at work seemed to think it was one of the organisers driver wasn't too shy in the corners

Agree why you that there needed to be more jap going round I was hoping the white S12 parked just round the corner from me would go round :) (which reminds me there was also a greyish one that left with it)

Missed the grey S13 as didn't get there til 7:30 takes about an hour or so to get there

i would have gone out in my s12, but i went drifting on sunday and havent had a chance to aquire any more tyres yet, and seeing as they normally only last about 6 laps i dident fancy trying to drive home on the same tyres i was drifting on........OFI shame you only saw me going round last week, i had some electrical/spark issues hence all the poping and banging, and pretty much wheneva i went to spin them it lost all power normally the old s12 will spin them most of the way round:) fixed now tho:thumbs:

Nice hope to see you there again was quite entertaining along with the mass of ppl reaching into their pockets for their key fobs to disable various car alarms :)

Was that a very very broken S12 in the entrance/exit? white with something painted on it.
I want to have a go at one of these coned drift tracks or maybe somewhere with a bit of run off before attempting to have a go a matchams. As it's my only car and i'm skint probably wouldnt be the best idea to jump in at the deep end :)

that was me cheers for the kind words the smoke was due to oil surge all i can think is due to crap suspension it rolls to much and the oil then goes back up the oil return from the turbo so tried drifting anti clock wise and it was fine but cant get use to it the suspension is too soft and the diff dont lock enough so will have to bring my proper car out again and have another go before my holiday cheers stew

I wonder if the bang I heard was the engine giving up and the rear damage was there before I didnt notice the damage when I did a walk round looking for 200sx's :)

@OFI: I was parked next-but-one to a maroon (i think) s13 and on the other side a jag:wack: scooby skyline..

@knobchop: aaah, my friends and i were making un-educated guesses at seals going or a turbo dying.

im also in the same boat as OFI, im kitting the car up slowly to deal with drifting but i have no-where near enough funds to allow a mojar meeting with a barrier. Need to get myself to some practice das or find a local quet streeto spot to practice.

want to get rind of my K1 licence!!
