I like those wheels but not 100% sure it fits the smooth, simple lines of the car... as those wheels are very aggressive. then again if you like it, go for it :)

Yeah, I dont have a clue what theyre going to look like but Ive ALWAYS loved the style of the 121s. I know for a fact that they would look w@nk on a Cossy so could never fit them to that but knew they might look the borrocks on a Jap motor. Well now Ive got a Jap motor Im going to see if I like them!
If I dont like them then Ill sell them on at cost (so someone will get a bargain ;) ) and then buy some more. :D
Superleggeras look sweet on an S14 and theyre pretty angular so Im hoping the 121s will also be ok.

I like them too. Well I like them in the pics. Ive never actually seen a set on the flesh so they might look cr@p face to face.

They look even better in black chrome but once the chrome starts flaking youre stuffed.

Ive got an E Manage, e-01 and Apexi exhaust coming in my Jap order. Ive got a set of 310 rotors and bells with Ferodo DS2500 pads coming in a couple of weeks. Ive got a set of rims arriving on Mon/Tue. Ive got a FMIC sat here waiting to go on along with a Walbro fuel pump. Ive also got a high spec engine being built :rolleyes:
Then Im going to have to sort the suspension because no doubt itll look way too high with standard ride height and 18s.
So whos completely skint from now onwards thern!! :D The fecker better be worth it.

Think Teamcapsule has very similar Work Meister S2 copies on his motor (Ace or Lenso I think from memory) and they suit it very nicely indeed :) Check the members section on the SXOC front page.

Thats a Skyline (from the Work Wheels website) in the pic matey but I reckon it could be confused for an S14 :)
I had a look but can't find Teamcapsules pics on the front page now but I'm sure they're on here somewhere..

I will test the shift light again tomorow now. Kind of been busy this week. Like I said I'm going to join the fag lighter adapter back on and see if it works then.
I know its a Skyline but it still looks meaty and Im pretty sure a little bit of hacking here and there and the subtle inroduction of a dep bumper and skirts and a nice little boot spoiler and I could have a vauge resemblance ;)
Let me know asap re the shift light casue if its fecked you need to get a refund now before I spend all my money!! :D

I did a similar bit of fiddling with Photoshop and pics of Gaz's car a couple of months ago. Maybe not to everyones taste but I want something DIFFERENT :)

I really dont like the smooth Euro look on Jap cars. I prefer something with a serious edge, something a bit more exotic. Smooth 5 spokes etc are defo not for me on a Jap motor.

They sound too cheap for a split rim but I think I did read somewhere they were 2 piece... Wouldn't guarantee it though. They are about half the price of most of the other Manaray wheels. Look cool though whatever ;)

No m8 you go for it. I'm thinking of something else now ;) And I can't see being able to afford 'em now till some time next year anyway! I also want coilovers and am going to have to fork out on some engine work :eek:

I was looking at those BK 121's for my MR2 turbo and they looked good in all the mags but when i went to look at them on the shelf the dish wasnt a deep as the design in the pics the ones i was looking at were 7.5 x 17 but the dish probaly wasnt even a inch.
I think the mags use pics from a proper jap wheel like the WORKS one.
I must admit the one on the R33 look like god but i think the 121's will be alot different.
Sorry to anyone else wth 121's if this offends them..

bren, you're right... you'll need a bodykit to make the 121's work well. then it'll match the aggression of the wheels. I hate smooth 5 spokes too. unfortunately my car came with them already, so I can't really complain... better than those pepperpot originals!!! (no pointing and sniggering at someone who owns an s13 in Dorking)
I think yodi's wheels look really good on his car... but then it's already been done ;)

Tried it in the Ford KA with the ciggy lighter and it worked fine! So I bought a replacement lighter from Halfords and put it in my car and it works no problem now. I don't know why as I wired it in to the wires powering the lighter anyway. Guess it didn't like the scotchlok connectors :o
