best time was a 13.46 @ 105mph
couldnt get it any lower than that with some good launches,
track was very good, gripped alot with launching, bogged it down a few times but overall pretty chuffed
had 12 runs, 4 x 13.4's 1x 13.9 4x 13.6 and some 13.7's
does this sound about right

shakespear county is far better than the pod, had a fortune recently spent on decent tarmac

it was £12 in then £20 to run,
there was 81 cars running today, mostly drag cars aswell so got through em pretty quick, sometimes only a few cars queing aswell did about 4 runs in 10 minutes.
there is a scutineering aswell (however ya spell it)
battery must be strapped down(secured)
no oil/water leaks
arms covered, basic safety really
think im going to have to go stage 2 or boost contoller and re-map
was desperatly trying to get a 13 flat
gutted i destrroyed my nankangs...lol
was running 18's aswell with rock hard coilovers which i dont think helped me alot..

Not necessarily so. We ran a 7.653 at Santa Pod, and with the exact same settings at SCR lost traction instantly, hit tyre shake and nearly destroyed the car. New tarmac does not make a better surface. It's all about prep, and the Santa Pod track prep is the best in Europe and holds the world record for an all asphalt surface at 4.64, 318mph.
The surface isn't nearly as well prepped at Shakey.
I would agree i dont think the track is as good at shakespeare as it is at pod .
Dont think i should admit this on here so no piss taking please:thumbs: , but when i had my metro gti the very best i could get was a 14.3 at shakespeare were as i managed to get a 14 flat at pod , dont seem alot of difference but it was much better for grip at pod.

i have never run at pod so can't say if there is a difference,
i found the surface at shakey to be good but then again im only running 280bhp, an 13sec 1/4 mile, suppose when your running 7 sec 1/4 mile every little thing makes the difference.
wouldn't mind going to pod but not paying the same money as shakey and getting around 9 less runs.
That is the main problem with pod , it has got too busy over the years and like you said you just dont get the runs in , which is gutting
Ian
Good run by the way
