Yesterday and today, my PC seems to be taking ages downloading the SXOC web pages.

It downs the badge, and the blue buttons at the top, then hangs for ages, before finishing the pages or being timed out.

Whats wrong ?????

Any one else got this ??

What do i need to do.

me too glad its not just me was beginning to think that ntl had narrowed my broadband connection

Even slow when looking at posts on here from my hotmail account.
Not doing anything fancy, not downloading at the same time. Don't know what's up:(

It's really annoying me now. Making this BB unusable:mad:

Are you guys who have same trouble on NTL like me:confused:

Other web pages seem fine.

I'm not downloading anything at the same time, and usually this bb is almost instant.

Help !!!!:( :(

Me too for the last couple of days.

I just changed my webcache to webcache.bt.net and now is running perfectly. NTL caches seem to have gone down the toilet!

Do a search for files *.tmp
Highlight them all and then DELETE them
They slow down your machine no end
Then go in to the run command and type in MSCONFIG
Then go to Startup
Uncheck anything you dont want running
You only need SYSTRAY to run Windows ,But make sure you dont disable your Anti Virus.
Most of what loads up in here is not needed If you need something that you unckeched you can always recheck it ,You have just stopped it starting not uninstalled it.

it's deffo NTL, they are shyte.
My other dial up connection works fine.

But why is it just the SXOC BB that is so slow?

Everything else is fine??

routing perhaps? The 300zx board was also slow, but my email (web based) was ok. I'm telling you it's NTL. It's been really bad for the past couple of days, to the point that I'd reconnected using my other ISP.

Is it something they have changed, or broken or what?

Is it gonna get better?

I'm off to hospital now :D :D so wont be checking for a while anyway.;) ;)

At least there wont be hours and hours of labour pains etc like waiting for these BB pages to down load.

Infact, the baby will be here in the time it takes for the reply to be accepted............... :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I was also having trouble with the BB last night from NTL connection. However from work (T1 connection or something) it was also a bit slow.

However at home most other sites were fine, and i was playing Counterstrike with a ping of 35 to 55...

My web's been bad since the first load of sh!te weather.
Phone line is buzzing like a beast and my PC is really slow :(
