What is your real name and what is the reason for your messageboard name cos some of them really are obsecure to say the least!
I think mine is pretty self explanatory! :)

Well I used to use the handle TechnoFillieYak! (back many moons ago when I was into the Amiga Demo seene :) )
Which got shorted to T.F.Yak.
Then finaly Yak. Which I now use for most things including me website and other stuff :D

Japanese for 'Unknown Fire' and the poetic name for phosphoresence (glowly pretty stuff in the sea).
Been on the next about 10 years and my original tag (wraith) was becoming as common as mud. So, a few years ago I went in search for a new tag name that I could also use in online games (EQ and UO). Siranui was the winner because it sounds nice, has a cool meaning, is unique, gives no clue as to my real name or location (although I have had a few people burst into Japanese at me online!) and I always like the glowing effect on your fins during night dives!
Strange but true.

My name's Hingy. I chose maverick because I'd already used that in multiplayer games such as Quake, etc. I guess I had either just watched Top Gun, or had a recent lift in a Ford soft-roader! :D

Got the nickname "Fizzy" at work about 8 years ago. Something to do with my last name being Fountain. Then it all gets a little confusing.

real name is Leon McGill, chose djsy69 cuase i needed a username and djsy was my fav dj when i listened to rave at school, and 69 cause its my fav number;) , and cause most sites you need 6 characters, but my proper nickname is victor, long and crap story really, and unfortunatly the name stuck

Used to be called Al 'V' (Alvee) at school and then one fatefull day in biology we learnt about algae......
Fate led to my nickname becoming Al'G' (NO not Ali G:rolleyes: )
To stop confusion I spell it Algie and not algae due to the difference in pronounciation.
My friends still call me Algie 13 years later!!

Erm...blowed if I can remember which one I was first on, but I switched to Europa when it opened. Then pretty much quit in favour of EQ (Torv server, then Kayne Bayle a bit), then DAOC (Excalibur/Albion). Now on E&B (Galilao) and perhaps considering either AC2 or going back to EQ.
