Garage smarage. You've got a coat, haven't you? :p
Just pick a day when the weather isn't likely to pee it down and we'll sort it.
Tell you what, come to next Saturday's Cheltenham meet and we'll do it there and then if you want. :)

You don't need a new rocker cover gasket, imo. It's not as if the rocker cover gets mashed down that hard anyway. The threads strip at anything over about 3lbs/ft of torque..
All you need is some liquid gasket to seal the three half moon shaped bits that fill the holes on the end of the cams.
let me guess does the manual say to do them up to over 3ftlbs
I did a rocker cover on my old mazda the book said 8ftlbs, the bolts sheared at about 5 :(
The gasket can be reused as it has been on mine, you just ned to dry the oil off it and use a bit of siliconb gasket to hold it to the rocker as you put it on oither wise its a pain :(
I have a spare rocker hallsy, if you bring me around some nitromors, some sandpaper, some plasticote acrylic and any plasticote of your choice I can paint it up 4 u. I did mine metallic purple.

Just looked at the manual and it says they should be torque'd down at between 5.8 to 7.2 lb-ft. A good clean thread in the head will take that, but I don't think a couple of mine were as they never even got tight when I did then up - they just span right down.. :(
Page 67 of the PDF manual, btw. :)
