View Full Version : Bit Char-G Drifing :D
Im at work on a 12 hour shift and a little bored. I've brought my Bit with my to play with, just torn one of the soft from tyres :(
Anyway,
Anyone know how to drift these lil buggers???
Hard rear tyres and soft fronts just results in spins when the fronts grip, hard back and med fronts doesnt do bugger all, hard all round seems a little better due to not much grip and four wheel slides. Soft rears just dont slide :(
Right, getting there,
NO rear tyres introduces MAD amounts of spin funnily enough, but good fun!!! :D
Teal 8.25:1 gears with a 1.6 motor and hard front tyres and NO rears is good fun but no good for proper racing.
The same with Hard rears is almost what Im after ...
The scientific experimentation will continue ;) :D

They are tiny little remote controlled cars. Perfect for the office and great fun. You can change ...
Motor
Tyres
Axle gears
Suspension
Strut braces
Body shells
Good fun :) Just trying to figure out how to drift them. Wondered if other people with them (I know people here have them) have managed this?

bit char-g's are sweet, ive got about 6 bodies and 2 bases (just ordered another 4 bodies , a 2.6 motor and a booster contoller + base) .
ive got some drift rear wheels that i got with my Toyota AE86 tune up shop set but they dont seem to be much good at drifting, better for dohnutting :)
if anyone knows how to drift id be interested, might make me and my workmates dinner time races a little more interesting :)
Aha another enthusiast :)
Im sitting here drifting at the moment,
takes some practice but best combo SEEMS to be ...
1.6 motor so not too mad torque
Teal gears (8.25:1)
Hard rear tyres
Hard front tyres.
Just drive as normal tap it round the corners, you'll introduce a tiny bit of drift but not enough to spin out. Take your rear tyres off, this is fun :)
