Ok, been quite a bit of talk about full trackdays after Trax, so ill start a thread....

I was thinking about one of these airfield days near Wilts:

Also after opnions about Hullavington & Keevil?

I've had a look at Hullavington as it might make a decent SW sxoc day out. Last time they checked they don't rent it out directly but there's always the opportunity for a number of us to book on the same day  Looks like your typical airfield day, with a track set out with cones and plenty of run off :)

Not sure what the surface is like at either but I'm led to believe airfields can be quite bumpy?

Well i am looking quite certain to book myself in on the 29th at Hullavington...

and i really dont mind if you organise another next month or so ;)

Anyone else fancy doing the 29th?

Dude!

We've driven both Hullavington & Keevil in our S13!

Don't worry about the surface. Both were pretty good. They've got a cracking track layout at both venues. To my mind, Keevil suits bigger powered cars thanks to having some looooong straights.

Obviously, no drifting - It's a normal track day thing.

Excellent open pit lane format, after a couple of sessions to get everyone sorted 1st thing. Expert tuition available at a very reasonable cost, too.

Say Hi to Ed & 'Tasha for us. ;)

Cool, thats put my mind at rest!!

Just got to get confirmation i can have the 29th off then it will be booked, and ill let everyone know. Also need to sort out my tyre situation and i have spare wheels and tyres but out of ~10 tyres (inc my road ones) i have, 6-8 are a bit iffy :o

Think I might be able to make this one. Got to check the work situation though as I know I'm very busy that week.
Might have a couple of other recruits too:)

What an excellent day!
Torrential rain and standing water made things interesting but definately fun.
The tuition definately helped too.
Guess we'll have to wait for Mr Broadband to sort the photos.

Wasn't it!! Wish i had managed to get some tuition, but the wet afternoon, with no rear tread was far to much fun :D :D

Some serious fish tails though... that kink in the perimiter road was a bit of a bogey corner for me. Thinking back i think it was that bump ater the apex. When the inside rear went over it, it span the outer rear up, because of the zero camber it had :wack:

Must sort that, and the tyres. When we doing another ;)

Yep, damn good. Was worried about the rain at first, but it made it even better I think.

It was comedy when an elise moved over to let me pass, and all I could do was aquaplane:D
