 I've done a bit of welding at school, gap year and uni (not for a few years now though :wack: )
Should be able to cope with MIG, stick, TIG or even brazing :smash:
I expect you'd be able to do it (I'm assuming you're using a MIG welder), once you have it setup right it's pretty easy to get reasonable results. Just get some scrap bits to practice on :)

fancy giving us a hand then rob? ill even take you out for a spin in it so you can see the handling and see the fuel gauge not move atall  it may even persuade you to get one as a runabout/daily driver ;) :D
i dont know what welder ill be usuing, i was hoping someone could advise me so i could go and hire/borrow it :wack:
Yeah, when do you need to do it? I'll have to persuade jade to lend me her car cuz there's no way I can spend the petrol to get to yours atm, got to keep as much cash for the holiday in a couple of weeks :)

we only need it doing sometime before november the 4th, when do you get back from holiday?
the only time i cant do is sept 28th-oct 9th as thts when im on holiday :D
I'm away from the 15th till the 22nd of sept so could do it the week after you get back from hol or something?
How much is a welder to hire? I would've thought if you were going to hire it then you may as well just pay someone else to do the welding

yeah thats a good time for me :)
i wouldnt of thought it would be more than £15 to hire it for a day or 1/2 a day, but i will probably be able to borrow one for free :)
