does anyone local have a spare drives side arch that they could sell me please? unfortunatly i have hand a bang and no car means limited travel so i hope the mods don't mind me posting here too ask the locals.

in plymstock, was coming into a roundabout where i had to give way and i broke and there was loads and loads of gravel on the road which i didnt see, so the car didnt stop and went into the path of a clio, wrote that of totaly! this was yesturday bout 9 at night! i have it back on the road already just need an arch so it looks smart again. i have pm'd moonhead, we wont be at trax but wen n where is it, i may b able to drive my mums car up or if someone could bring it down maybe?

Oh dear :( , are you having to go through insurance?
not sure yet, the other guy isn't too botherd his car isn't worth anything, but the city council are puting in a claim for the both of us against the quarry for droping the stones in the first place! they say the quarry is liable for both cars! but i need my car to get to work so need to get this arch quickly

If anyone from your way is coming up to the next Longwell meet then I could probably get it from Swindon, to there. That's if he's got one obviously.
he has got a blue one, that will do. i could get to bristol thats about it so if anyone could get it from moonhead to bristol M5 that would be great, or if anyone is taking a trip near i wil pay money for them to be my private courier!
If you have the deal sorted with Moonhead, I can fetch the part and give it to someone nearer to you at the next Longwell meet, if someone's coming up. For that I'd try asking in the latest Longwell Meet thread Pete C started :thumbs:

ok i cant get out of plymouth till next weekend now as im doing overtime all week. but i can make it to exeter to get it from you either friday afternoon or saturday morning if you can get it from jeff by then slidder?

Not sure when I'll have time to meet you but I can put the wing in the back of my (never locked) Capri so you can fetch it from my house whether I'm there or not? I live about 5 minutes from the Longwell meet location :)

no i havent got it, jeff has it and i think slidder is geting it some time this week. sure you can help me out if you like as long as your car will be ok, if you need any help with that let me know. (oh and the fc engine is in! but haven't started it yet, just about to!)

ah yes, that guy loves his cars!! yeh im about 3 weeks into my second year of apprenticship. its wasn't too bad just a broken wheel, shock, and steering rack, oh and the arch! was all fixed the day after but just waiting on the arch, no rush for it though.

i'm getting it sprayed on tuesday by a friend of mine who owns a garage, he is sorting out everything bodywork wise so will be nice a fresh in a few weeks

well my cars been sprayed nice new gold and inside the arch its still the old colour and looks $h1t. attention to detail my friend! so i need some asap please!

a few mates at plymstock bodyshop sorted out all my bodywork, and there was alot! the paint is a pearl coppery orangy goldy type! its from the Alfa Romeo 2006 paint charts. You wont see me for a while my big ends went yesturday! got the engine striped in my garage yesturday, just waiting on the crank and new big ends and gasket set to rebuild it, should be a few more days till its back in the car.hopefully for the 19th

yeh i know but now it will have brand new body work, and a brand new engine, i have decided to rebuild a complete engine, top to bottom, every seal, every gasket will be changed, new piston rings and conrods (pistons are ok to use again), my crank i get back tomorrow, new turbo seals just to be safe! and then a remap to make sure everything is running smoothly, its going to be a brand new car after this! good as new! then nothing will go wrong again!lol also got a Bride bucket to put in, excited about that! lol
rob they are good but i am not sure about prices, they are cheaper then the likes of koncepts though! and produce some good work

lol i no but engines more important and with my debts i wont be able to aford new rims till start of next year and thats also insurance time!
