Not the cheapest short term option but will save you big money in the long run and also stop your xbox from being banished to the cupboard due to lack of games.

I ordered one from here last night, will be arriving tomorrow.

Amognst other things it enables you to install a larger PC harddrive so every time you hire a game from Blockbuster it can be downloaded and played over and over again. You also get 1400 arcade game preinstalled. Frogger rules.

I've read good things about these people on another forum there supposed to be very reliable. You also get a 3 month warranty.

AFAIK, as long as there's enough room you can copy any game onto it.

X-box doesn't come with an interactive OS does it ??

You use the Evolution X software that comes with the hacked Xbox.
I don't know exactly how it works yet though.

U can copy games by renting them, and using Boxplorer to put them on ur hard drive, u can also copy divX Movies onto the hard drive and use the Media Player to watch them ono the telly, I download all the latest films through Kazaa on my Downloading PC (u can download the games aswell) , and FTP them to the X-BoX, tis very very kooooool :cool:

How do you connect the PC to the Xbox and what FTP software did you use??

The X-BoX has a built in RJ-45 network card (RJ-45 is standard format) so u link it to the PC via the normal means (hub/switch/crossover cable etc) then just download Flash FXP, it's freeware and is piss easy to us, simply enter the IP of the X-BoX which u find in the system menu in EVO X and thats it :)

Way hey, my chipped Xbox arived this afternoon.

I just happened to bump into the delivery guy just as I arrived home at lunch time to walk the dogs. That were lucky.

Its well shiny and nice, even came with a free Lord of the Rings game, its a shame I had to come back work.

Anyway, I can recommend www.phoenixmods.co.uk you can't argue with next day delivery, games for a fiver etc all for £235.

yup, can highly recommend.
I got an 80gig hard drive put into mine. Currently got 30 movies and 20 games stored on the drive and still got 20gig free :D

cheapest STANDARD X-Box is currently Dixons: £188 with 2 controllers and 3 games including Halo!
