My PC is currently usuing 303mb for the page files.... does that seem a little excessive?
XP, 1.75 Ghz HDD, 512MB RAM

Any ideas?

of my machines at work one is 260 and the other 400ish.

no, I got one on each drive, 786Mb, and 512Mb

Page file should be at least the same size as your amount of RAM.

What if I told you my Page file is about 4gb. :D :D

Thats not all I always use most of that sometimes all but windows won't let me set it any higher.

Page file should be 1 and 1/2 times the size of your ram for optimal performance.
