i did indeed do a drift academy day- its was good but expensive for what it really was- i.e some pointers and practice round some cones, i did discover that my VLSD was not really upto the job and was told it was the car (my s13) not my skills holding me back:cool: and was the kick to get a open diff welded up (cos i'm a cheapskate!)
If you already know to let go of the steering wheel and are mildly confident to let it drift and turn with the slide to get more angle i'd say save your £ and just do a practice day, but if your a total noob and/or don't want to thrash your car they have the mx5's (but then it's another £100)
just don't do what i did and try the new welded diff (which makes such a difference!!) at haynes where the run off is tight and mistakes do happen (well to me:annoyed: )
