I'll be there (really), with some new looks (the car, not me :wack: ).
i find it hard to believe that you can improve the looks of your car any further, its by far the best looking s15 on this board, and easily one of the 5 best looking cars on here altogether :smitten: :notworthy
That's very kind, but I may just surprise you... ;)

13" steelies and neons:smitten: :D
Hopefully will be there having completely forgotten bout the last one:)
I should be make it this month as i have missed the last few. See you all there
Wild speculation here, but i think the new look will be in the form of an Aero front bumper ;), outside chance that it could be a swap in wheels; from what i have read on the board i think Nicley must have a loft full of different sets of alloys :wack:

Hello all, i'll try and make to this meet, its got to better than lurking around on the forum :)
Does anyone have a srb splitter fitted, as i've chopped my front bumper around and i'm not sure how it will look.

I'm not sure any locals have that splitter
Be good to see another new face that I won't remember a name for ect, for the next year or so :smash:
hi all, from my post about my front arch problem, jeff is taking my new arch to the longwell meet, is anyone able to then bring this down to plymouth somehow? anyone from around here going to the meet maybe? cheers, Steve
FMG - I think i'll order it anyway.
Should see you on the 9th.
Nick.

Slidder200 and Nicely are both probably nearer to you than Bristol :)

Slidder is  Nicely ain't  not time wise at least....
I should be going down sometime soon to check on my Nan's old house (currently empty) so can possibly bring it when I come down (going to Plympton)
This is assuming my brother doesn't go down on his own this weekend while I'm at Goodwood (Smug git mode back on  )
Salisbury's so far south it may as well be on the coast, plus Plymouth is on the coast. Therefore they must be visrtually the same place :wack:
Ok, geography probably isn't my strong point :o but then, neither is anything else  :wack:
You really should familiarise yourself with your area... :p
Nah Sailbury is miles away... or atleast it had better be as Nicely never turns up to the exeter meets! (Probably scared of my S15 drift slag that doesnt move :wack: )
Slider will be your best bet but not to sure if he's going... saying that if anyone can get it closer to plymouth then i'll go get it when my clutch is done/arrives/bogged... good excuse to run it in!

not sure if i'll make it in the 200 or not as i'm off on a restful week in wales, due back next saturday but not sure on time, i don't mind helping out steve with the wing as i would have thought i'm the nearest, maybe dux could take it if i don't make it and i'd come get it off him at his work?
cheers guys for doing this, slidder if you don't mind geting it down this way i could arrange for channie or one of my workmates to take me up to get it from you. when will you know if you will be able to take it?
slider200

right just to clarify for you!
if i can make it to the meet i'll get it off jeff, but if i can't make it back off holiday in time for the meet dux will take it and i'll get it from him, then at least its a bit closer to you and we can sort out meeting somewhere.
Any body fancy a pre-meeting at almondsbury garden centre midday to see the tropical fish? rob?
Might be there... in a van as i need to get a Kitchen from B&Q :wack:

I should be there. Probably the last time that I will have the OMP seats fitted.
Back to standard seats and some money to help with the forthcoming, reluctant, relocation.

The Westie's engine is currently in pieces so I'll be in the Racing Merc :wack:
Good news and bad news on the engine: The heads on the car have been built to motorsport's specs - everything is about as good as it gets, bronze guides, metal HG, steel rocker posts, ported and flowed, mahoosive valves, uprated everything basically :notworthy :smitten:
The bad news is I've found the reason for the low compression in 3 & 4. The heads are cracked between the inlet and exhaust ports on both 3 & 4, and on 3 there's another crack making it's way up towards the sparkplug
So that's them fooked :indiff:
We're going to try a spot of welding to see what we can do (followed obviousy by getting the affected valve seats re-lapped ect), if that fails then I'm probably looking at well over £500 for a new head to the same spec :(
And the Merc needs a few minor problems fixed before MOT time at the end of the month (like the slight brakes issue :wack: ) maybe I should try Pete's dodgy MOT garage :p
Just what you dont want. Really sorry to here that :( Hope it can get sorted.

To make it worse you may bump into my parents out there...
Im not going to make it, i have a very bad cold so am going back to parents until i get better
Well what a turnout that was :wack:
I counted 4 S14s, one S12, a Skyline, a Civic, a 205 GTI a Merc 190E, and a Clio :smash:
All the S13s must be broken
There was also a Clio and an Astra I think  :D
At least my S12 can claim the title of 'Best semi-sxoc relevant non-S14 or S14a' at the meet :notworthy  :wack:
There was also a Clio and an Astra I think  :D
I was excluding the Clio 'cos she parked too far away, I forgot about Barry's Astra though :wack:
So does my car win 'Best-FWD-car-with-an-SXOC.com-sticker?' :D
