Im still looking for my motor(god there is some shit out there:rant: )

Most I have seen have been round the block. I have about 4K to spend on mods and I think one of the first things is to make sure its all working properly. I have thought about doing the rebuild myself, but my knowledge is not flawless:cry:

Are there any decent places down here? All the ones I have found have been a bit of a trek away.

Also going to be taking a trip up to see Bren @ Apex in Novemberish if anybody needs anything brought down, im taking a van!

Cheers

There are two main places where everyone seems to have their engines rebuilt. One is APT over near Norwich if I remember correctly, the other is Norris Designs in Swindon. They will both rebuild you a very very good engine with uprated parts if you want.

Heres the Norris designs prices:

If your not interested in a fast road engine then you'll probably find a smaller place nearer to Bournemouth will do an alright job for less money.

In that case, I'd recommend PTS :notworthy - they did my engine rebuild last year - fantastic job

APT - Norris build good engines but it'll take years and if you have an issue under their warranty it'll probably take twice as long again! :smash:

It's got different wheels since those pictures, and is going back to PTS on Monday for a big brake upgrade

You have savings?? Just tell Uncle Chris at PTS and he will happily advise you of all the fantastic things you should be doing to your car and therefore, how to spend it :wack:

You need to give me a ring and dicuss, that list needs some serious chopping and shaping, I can save you a load of cash and suggest a number of superior alternatives :)

I've got Wolfrace Ikon Plus rims, that I bought off this board, in May this year.

We wanted 17" rims as a preference over 18", as tyres are cheaper and we reckon they look better

Here's how she looks now...

err - if you mean the videos on the PTS website, then you mean Mambastu's car (which has a Skyline Twin Turbo engine :D) and yes, it is :notworthy

Why not bring the missus down to the meet, I'm the only girlie that goes at the moment! Could do with some more support :wack:
