View Full Version : Nurburgring Friday 20th - Monday 23rd October
Well after just returning from Germany after spending the weekend at the Nurburgring, its time to set dates for another trip!
The dates are the 20th till the 23rd of October, this would give us all Friday to travel there, go out on the Friday night and then go to the circuit for midday Saturday. Out again on Saturday night and then spend all day at the circuit on Sunday. Booze it up on Sunday night, wake up Moday with a sore head and drive on home back to the UK...
Depending on your driving style and number of laps, £250 should cover you for the weekend... Ferry is £49 return, hotel will be around £50 for 3 nights..
Heres the list so far -

Hi, what route do you drive? I live in the Area of Aachen and I just came back from my first Nurring trip. I drove thru the Eiffel inside roads, much, muuuuch more fun than the Autobahn and I know a few nice hotels/guesthouses.
So if guys are passing thru Aachen or Maastricht, let me know, If all well, I'm joining and I can guide thru the Eiffel.
I dont know the exact route, but i know we dont go on any of the autobahns... Im just posting up everywhere to let people know that there is a trip going on. My friend Dave is booking the ferry/hotel etc...

Hi Ryhound:wave:
I'm a newbie in here but you'll know me as Tony in Northloop (thus my name in here! )
The best route to take is as follows: Calais / Oostend / Brussels / Liege / Verviers / Malmedy (past Spa Francorchamps) / Prum / Gerolstein / Kelberg / Nurburg. The road to Nurburg from Prum is excellent. Make sure that you stay at the Am Tiergarten hotel (Sabine's mum's place) or at the very least eat in their restaurant The Pistenklause. Hot Rock steaks and Bitburger beer is all part of the trip:thumbs:
I was supposed to be going the same weekend as you guys but something has come up:cry: That is the third trip I have had to cancel this year:furious:
Nevermind, I have just bought a stage 1 S14 which will be stripped and prepped before the circuit opens next season;)
