View Full Version : Pembray Bbq 27th Aug
Thought I'd start a new thread for this.
Right then lads(and lasses) its BBQ time in Pembray again, and I figured it could conbine it with the Aug meet.
So I decided on the 27th of Aug (I know some can make it some can't but I gotta put a date to it).
I did make some enquires about camping on the saturday night, but weirdly its odd in that you got to be a group of more than six and you,ve got to apply to the concil in writing:confused: . I,ve not mentioned the sxoc in my letter as I'm not sure its my place to, but sent one off this morning, But not sure what will come of it, So at presant Camping is a maybe for the saturday night. I will keep you all up dated.
So unless the camping comes off it'll be the same crack as last year 12 midday, (Kids, Dogs, people with no willy's (w/gf's):wack: , the more the merryier)
I've got the BBQ covered , But do require assistance with the following
1.Anyone use the skyline owners club:confused: to get hold of those liners that came last year?
2. a gazzebo!
3. Anything else that I can't think of yet.:nod:
And after Jae I reckon this year a few daft games could be in order waddu you think?? (down hill unicycle challange perhaps!)

Its bank Holiday so if the weather is nice then the roads leading to it will be chokka and inside will be full of people and kids kicking balls about etc. Plus I wont be there that weekend. In short I'm saying change the date!

I could well be up for this. I'm either going to be at the Welsh National Motorshow or at Llandow the day before so I'm not sure what I'm doing yet. I won't put my name down for deffinate right now.

I was camping down there last weekend with my son's rugby team crowd and it sounded like somone was practicing in one of the beach car parks at about 2am, so so have I!:mad:
We've got a gazeebo too, could have a covered event if we get a few more!!!
Prefer not the bank holiday as the queues to get in can be horrendous!
Might try not to loose my youngest this year :wack:

Hey Bryn, why dont you see if you can influence a few of the Skyline owners to come along after the track session? I am sure the idea of the possibility that some one might chuck them a spare sausage would be appealing to a few of them lol.

Ok then sports fans here's the update:
Contacted the council today, as I'd had no reply to my letter, and the've told me [B]no as its full up , So looks as if its gonna be on the Sunday 27th only for a hum dinger of a BBQ:thumbs:
I'll be doing the food (no arguments) so ensure all your jabs are up to date:eek:
I'm off work this week so won't be on-line after tommorow tonight as me and my tribe are off to NewQuay (cornwall) for the week , So keep adding to the list people:thumbs:

The only thing that can fail us now is the weather,:D
