just bin to look at a car with fatty.
96p S14 touring with 65k on. FNSH. been sat for 2 months, had cams replaced at main dealer a month ago.
All seemed to be present and correct except the exhaust looked a little on the rotten side and the heat shield was resting on the exhaust. Drives sweet, exactly as expected. but....
there's this weird noise at about 2500rpm, sounds like it's coming from the bottom end of the engine. kind of quiet knocking noise, 1 per revolution. does it whether moving or not, regardless of gear. Hard to tell exactly with the heatshield rattling away. Any ideas?
