Anyone used or heard anything about the Cardata service for buying and selling cars? They match buyers and sellers supposedly saving each the hassle the process otherwise involves. It 80 notes to use, which isn't bad as long as the car sells, but a waste of time if the service turns out to be kack.

anyone?

Just send the money straight to me, it'll have the same effect on sellling your car (ie FCUK all! :D)

All I can say is don't. PLEASE!
I was ripped off. They told me they had people looking for my type of car and could sell it in no time. So I gave them my 70 notes. You don't even get a picture for that. That's a part of the premier ad for another 25!
Didn't get one call. So put my car in Autotrader and had about a call every day! Sold in no time.

But they did put my next car up for sale recently for free, but you've guessed it not one call. My old 306 sold in AT in a couple of weeks. I haven't told them I've sold it yet either and that was over a month ago!

Am now an sx owner. Lovely stuff!

Just given them cash for sod all in the past. You'd be better off sticking an ad in the back of EVO.

Yep, i've had multiple missed calls from them when i was selling my Escort, then one time they actually caught me on a lunch break. They also said I would have car sold in less than a week for only about £70. They then hung up when i started pestering them about when have they got my number from, how do they know about my car and how could they justify me paying £70 to some company i've never heard of!

Good thing i'm a bit of a sceptic when it comes to these things!

They look in the Trader don't they and phone you up? They phoned me and said they had buyers waiting for my car, so I asked why those buyers hadn't looked in the Trader and phoned me themselves, the guy on the other end of the phone went strangely quiet...

I wouldn't bother heard the same things "We have people asking for your car ........ £80 and you will get your money back if someone takes out finance on it" .

They were worse than time share people. Kept hounding and hounding until I lost my rag with them.

If I was you Autotrader online for £9.99 including a photo.
