A mateof mine lives down in Plymouth, and has offered me a place to stay for a while as im having shit where i am at the moment, whats it like? Speed bumps etc etc.. night life, women, you know.. the normal bloke things :wack:
Speed bumps - there's some here and there, depends on where you are staying though I guess. Channie can navigate town and ants have trouble getting under his car  Roads are a bit hit and miss sadly, some nice bits & some that need to be re-tarmaced tbh.
Night life - Channie is your man for this, though being a naval town you have your fair share of sluts, also get lots of uni bints during term time. Guess that covers women as well. Oh you get practicing your 'Ere maaaate' so you fit in down town :wack:
Club wise, we are a top bunch of peeps imho :D Not sure about that Mammoth poofter with his gay 4wd car tho ;) :D :p

lmfao... Uni bints and sluts are good atm, sounds ideal if i end it with the other half... Would be 23rd Aug if i moved down
Just before they all arrive back for new term ;)
Will give you a couple weeks to get the lay of the land before jumping in head first I guess

We have the moors to drive on as well so good for a blast (just watch the sheep and the ponies around bushey areas as they jump out i swear lol). Very good place to be on the sunny weekends

Nah, they havent.. i think we've basically split now.. But shes said i can stay here for a while.. TBH, its the last thing i need, her guilt.. As tbh, id still be in the RAF if it wasnt for her saying how much she wanted me to leave, and live with her.... Nice for her to make her mind up now.. Looks liek i may be comig to Plymouth unless i can find a realyl well paid job in the next month or so!
Could you rejoin or join another service? Obviously we have all the navy stuff down here (inc. commandos).
Breaking up is never nice, just a real shame it had to end in you sacrificing your job for this. I'm sure it was the right decision at the time.
No point coming hear for the women if you need to get over one, but if it will save you money and let you get your head straight with loads of places you can sight see and all that relaxing malarky. If you do take time out down here, then we'll all be here waiting... at the bar... with empty beer glasses.... ;)

lol! empty is no good! I wouldnt wanna join the forces again, id rather stack shelves at Asda than go back!
It's ok.. you can tell me all about it.. over a pint... or two.. or three :D
But seriously, all these guys are top class and completely legit/trustworthy (all the regulars I mean, although Elvis frequents Floraday so that makes him the exception to the rule :wack: ;) ).
Oh and not that it makes that much difference but I be starting a diff job on 31st with normal hours (not rotating shifts that makes me fubered all the time right now) so will have time to chat/chill out/show you the nice places to go etc.
Matt
p.s. What are your skills/experience in as you never know someone may know of a job you may be suitable for and at least it's in peoples minds.

What sort of graphical design mate? I might just have something you can help me with in your spare time.. to hone your skills so to speak ;)

Give it a go mate :D If you are good at picking stuff up, then it shouldn't be an issue for you ;)

Dont forget freshers week also back end of aug/start of september women from all over.
Wow ive been seen busy at work  ... no seriously form a change i have loads of crap to do!
Hello paul... before moving here come down for the day and check it out... dont do what i did, come down to have a look, crash your car, then be too lazy to go back where your from... although i dont really belong anywhere... apart from prison maybe... jokes.
Plymouths kinda cool... your close to the beach... there are a fair few hotties down here... the rent is cheap... the insurance is cheap... its extremely up and coming, so loads of job oppertunities arising... booze is cheap aswell!
There is no cure for breaking up wit a lady... ive tried everything belive... the only cure is too stop dont fcukin about and get on wit stuff!!!! Its jus like having a come time its only gunna get better wit time... although it does give you an excuse to drive like a tit for a while expelling frustration and drinkin till you piss blood.
IT eh??? What sort of experience and skills have you got? Im a Software developer for the Land Registry... (Scouger will be soon aswell!) Theres a few web graphics jobs down here, alot of people live in Plymouth then commute to exeter for IT work...
Either way peeps from all regions are welcome to visit these parts of the UK and you'll get looked after!

Thats the problem.. Never have had any experience.. But ive been playing with photoshop etc etc all my life lol.. being in the Air Force ruined the chance of my getting any REAL IT qualifications...
Unless i can find a decent paid job down there, it may be looking grim, as the guy who i was gonan move in with has gone and found a 3 bed house with another bloke, but didnt realsie i was on about moving down there, so looks like i wont have somewhere down there at all.... Useless fecker...
Anyone need a lodger ?
Matthew
