For those of you who haven't been to JAE, or those who have, but have developed amnesia, the following things will make your life a whole lot better :-

Tent
Rubber Mallet
Sleeping Bag
Pillow
Folding Chairs
Basic First Aid kit.
Alka Selzer
Bottled Water
Tool Kit
Torch / Lamps
Waterproof Jacket (in case...)
Clothes other than shorts, it's cold at night.
Shower Bag / Towel
Sun Cream
Toilet Roll (Worse Case Scenario!)

These are just things that I have ended up accumulating over 5 JAE's. The one that will bug you the most apart from no tent, is no chair. Trust me on this ;)

A few other things that you might like...

Gazebo
Stereo
Batteries
Inflatable Mattress
Pump for mattress
Camping Table
Disposable/Camping Plates
Disposable/Camping Glasses
Disposable/Camping Cuttlery
Barbeque / Camping Stove
BBQ Tongs!

Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything. Also if you are bringing a tent, remember that half a tent is no use to anyone, as a mate found out a couple years back, when he left the poles at home :D

Stuff I had forgotten.... ;)

 camera

bottle opener
headache pills/potions
sun burn stuff (just in case)

Here's another one for your list - underclangers!!

There is a fooking massive tescos about a mile away, why waste boot space when you can get it fresh and cold in 10 minutes? :)

And yes, hopefully I won't need a brake bleeding kit... Can't believe I did that :ghey:

Scougar
12-07-2006, 22:42
Chris, I try to remember to bring my bleed kit for you :)

Think you can bring a fresh and cold caliper for me to play with and measure up? :D

I'm not planning on splitting a calliper through stupidity this year Matthew :) You can take my wheel off and measure the calliper though.

I was thinking that too. There were loads of trees at Billing, but nowhere to hide at Peterborough. If MattyG hadn't crashed his car we could have sheltered from the sun under it :D

Anyone else struggling to find a gazebo. I didn't buy ASDA cheapo one at the weekend thinking I'd get something better, but everywhere seems to be sold out tonight, including ASDA :(

There are supposed to be regional gazebos for events - each SXOC region has its own SXOC gazebo ;)
