We have a brand new 1.2 corsa as a loan car for a few days so i thought i'd take it out for a little road test!...
First impressions: Not bad!! You can either drive in fully auto mode or use the gear lever to select gears by pushing up to change up and down to go down! The only problem with this is it feels more natural to pull down to change up and vice-versa so alot of the time i was trying to change up but going down:( (But....it wont let you select a lower gear if your revving to high!)
For only a 1.2 it was'nt too slow and the gearbox is very quick to react, although you have to lift your foot off the throttle slightly to get a smooth gear change....Downchanging is cool because it blips the throttle for you but as the engine sounds more like a food blender it's not that pleasent:D
Anyway..i'm starting to bore myself now..
