I went for a check-up today (yeah, I'm virtuous :D) I have a new dentist.......it was all well strange! After a cursory (sp. ?) inspection of my teeth he asked to see my toothbrush, & told me off about it because it was the wrong shape :rolleyes: He's ordered me to get some floss and in 2 months I have to go back so he can show me flossing techniques and how to brush my teeth properly! He's also advised me to buy an electric toothbrush as well as a manual one lolol
He says the nhs don't provide for preventative work and he's just trying to get his nhs patients up to the same standard as his private patients! Actually he quite impressed me with his attitude - nice to know that the guy can spent time with his cheapie patients to try & improve their health!
(Oh, and btw - as usual I got a clean bill of health :) The joys of 6-monthly check-ups, eh? :D :cool: :p )
