Thought I would let you know about my insurance as I think I got a good deal? I'm 24 with 1 year no claims, and 6 points - 4 and half years ago.

S14a, with wheels and SS Exhaust

Most companies offered > £2000

Tesco was the best at £1700 unitil I phoned greenlight:

£1350 fully comp. They will also offer club discounts apparently

Saying that I have only got a cover note from them at the moment. I'm still waiting for the full policy

I'm still waiting for my proper policy, 2 months now...:rolleyes: At least they keep sending me covers notes in the meantime.

ruddy hell mate that sounds a pretty good deal

dont worry bout the cover notes as long as they keep coming - its quite usual for 2-3 covernotes to expire before getting a policy through on a new business so no sweat :D

I am also two months in and awaiting a policy. Has anyone actually got a full policy from them yet ?

Yes, I asked them to set up our club insurance scheme and they did. They give good quotes anyway, as you've found out, but they do better ones when you're a club member:) They can also offer track day cover for us too. Trust me, you'd save the £15 membership fee straight away!

Got my proper policy through today...just in time before the next cover note expired...which was today :)
Not as detailed as i thought it was going to be.

If any you guys thinking of using greenlight, then make sure you get a photocopy of the modifications declarations form, cos the policy doesn't list anywhere, anything about your mods.
