hi, does anyone know what way to adjust an asjustable actuator on a s14. Believe this or not, mines adjusted to 22.5 psi and im not sure if i need to adjust the rod shorter or longer to bring down to much more sensible 10 psi. Im already running a greddy profec so extra adjustment not really a prob but need to get the base boost lower. anyone got any ideas. greatly appreciate any advice :)

cheers, just found out the hard way with a few 'test cycles' up the dual carriage beside me ;) seems to be higher up the rev band before she goes into positive boost. cant have it everyway i suppose :o

I am just wondering if you would be able to tell me the benefits of a actuator and if it is mounted on a turbo do you need anything else to run it?You see i have been offered a turbo with a hks actuator mounted on i but i'm not sure if it will run on its own like this nothing else is supplied only the turbo and the actuator.
Cheers if you can help

the actuator is there to govern the boost as your saying its got a hks one i'm thinking its 1 bar min so make sure you have the supporting mod for 1 bar.

to be honest you would be better off fitting the turbo and swapping over your standard actuator until you get the supporting mods. i run a avcr with a standard actuator at 1 bar and not had any problems so far with it.
