Here is a glimpse at our new unit. As you can see, we have a brand-new 2-post lift in place and will soon have the one from the current unit moved over. Really, we are just doing finishing touches now, then the last coat of paint on the floor and we will be in......

This is our purpose-built Dyno-cell. It is around 6 metres long by 4 metres wide and has, as you can see, twin 650mm extraction fans to compliment the massive front fan......

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y152/APT/New%20Unit/NewUnit007.jpg

This is the control centre for the fans. The extractors are independantly controllable, whilst the main front fan makes use of the Danfoss electronic speed controller, giving us infinite control. This unit even displays HP that the fan is running at!! :wack: On the left is the Thermometer/Hygrometer for measuring cell conditions, for use with the Dyno.

This is Gary's new home. Our dedicated Engine-building room. This enables him to be away from the main workshop and listen to his favourite music, such as Bing Crosby, whilst assembling SR's and CA's. :ghey: :whip:

Hope you like!!

Cheers guys.

If you look on the far wall, you can see 2 windows, the left-hand one is the engine-room, the right-hand one is the new office, which is nowhere near finished at the moment! I can see that we will be working out of the new unit and I will still be in the old one for a few days, which could be awkward!! We also have a customer waiting area and a tiny kitchen. The 'facilities' are over-sized though, due to the provision for disabled access.

I think Gary is hoping to be working out of there this coming week. The Dyno will certainly be in place. The paint should be dry Monday/Tuesday and we just have to paint the rest of the workshop.

It's also like Fort Knox for security. I'd love to be able to tell you all the tricks we have done to make it secure, but that's just asking for trouble!:wack:

Oh, also, all the space above the office/engine room and dyno will be boarded and usable as storage, so hopefully we can stay tidy!!
