Bit, well very, pissed so exciuse any spellkinmhgg mistakes and general boll0cks.
Been down the pub with myh mates and been talking about travellkinto Austarlia.
How come it takes 23 hours or so to get to mAustralia?
As we figure it if you flew straight down from the UK to the equator (3 hours) and then hovered for 12 hours until you are the other side of the planet and then flew straight down agian to OZ, 3 hours or so, it would only take 18 hours to do the journey.
So why doesa it take 23 hours by jet?
We came up with a cracking way to get there usng no fuel or energy at all. Drill a big hole all the way throuygh the planet, exactly the other side oif the world from the Uk, and then a train can be dro[pped through the hole, gravity will pull it to the centre of the earth and then it will take the rest of the journey from the centre to the crust on the other side for it to slow down and should come to a rest exactly at the ctrust. Does this mnake sense?
