How long a usb cable can i have?
My pc is upstairs and me old man got a all in one printer thing downstairs directly below - can i have a say 6,7m cable?

I'am sure we've got a 5m USB cabble in the office that works, i'll have a look arround...

5m's is the longest you can have a USB cable with out using signel amplifier on it.

And then there's no garenty of speed or it will work properly.

Does the printer have a parrralel input? You can have them really long.

Cheers chaps - hmm damn so u reckon its only good for about 5 meters then :(
It does have a parralel input too - how long can this go then?
P.s anyone wanna sell me a 5m usb cable?

8m should be ok with a a parralel, it won't be as quick though.
