Listening to Radio one, and they always go on about that awful X Fm or what ever it is, only plays RnB!

After looking around the BBC1 website for a while, i stumbled across the 6-Music station! Totally fantastic

Shame its only avliable over the internet and on digital radio :(

Isn't that the one dedicated to new Black music?

I have to say that terms like Alternative makeme grin. RnB, Garage yaddah yaddah aren't alternative IMO - far too mainstream.
Head towards Camel, ELP, and still the uber-meisters Pink Floyd and that is where the alternative is happening. IMO.

Go on, flame me!!!!!!!!!!!!

I listen to XFM everday at work its loads better than Radio One. It just doesn't play sh*t pop music.
Christian O connel is well smart in the morning much less annoying than that horrible voiced Sara Cox slag

Yep, Radio 1 in the morning is total w@nk.
They should let Jonathon Ross do it instead, he's funny as fuk IMO.

Gah

Has anyone here listened to 6-Music? I hate this BBC's never ending promotion of the "Black/Urban music" channel, as if there isn't enough around at the moment!

Give me proper bands anyday of the week!
