Its an event in itself. Meeting Gary at around 9am tomorrow (saturday) to hopefully sort my screwed up paintwork out :D
Just remembered on drive home from Tavi tonight that i have to wash the car D'oh! Alarm set for 7am to do a quick wash to remove most of the dirt. Not gonna help matters if I have dirt scratching the paintwork.
Will be at Gary's garage crying when he tells me it can't be fixed and I need a respray lol.

What can i say about Bob who did the work today? TOP BLOKE!! (real nice guy as well, knows his stuff not some trumped up painter like Gary ;) )
Its starting to look lurvely now... one side done.. the other side and other parts... to be continued.

I'm uber gobsmacked how good it's come out though, can't believe how beautifully smooth it is now. Bit of wet'n'dry 2000, faracel compound and a super dee dooper man on the job, and quite clearly, Bob's yah uncle! Soon as the rest is sorted i'll get some meguiers tech wax and spank it till its nice and shiny.
Will have to figure out how to remove the spoiler (how hard can it be! lol)
Now all I need to do is start detailing the engine bay now. My sxoc sense tells me that a newly painted cam cover is on the cards.

P.s. was suprised the side skirts came up nice as well, thought they would have been non-repairable.

I would defo choose him to spray my car if I was gonna get it down.. he did your flip paint ace.. and no need to polish !

nice one mate :thumbs: good work gary, an its 4 nuts for the spoiler then you just have to remove all the stikky sh!t they put under :smash:
matt, whilst its in there, get the holes welded up and leave the spoiler off :thumbs:
And when it comes out fix ur ride height!!! Im sure i saw a family of asylum seekers under there!!! :D

I'll keep the spoiler as I actually like it, just no other spoiler that has taken my fancy for the s14 yet :(
On way home, the car decided it was time to blow a gasket. Pretty sure it's exhaust side of things, but will take a peek tomorrow to see what i can find. Praying it's not the turbo gaskets themselves :(
