Did Bren make up a din pannel thingy for you??
Have you got any pics?? Where is it to fit? Bren said somthin bout the air vents??
Bren did indeed make up a panel for me mate. :D

Right i took a couple of pics 2day.
Your console looks fookin tidy in that colour.
What type of spray paint did you use, dit you have to prime it first? Did you also do the handbrake area?
Found this stuff a pain to rub down last time so gave up
Mmmmm ME LIKE, may be stealing some ideas from you in the near future as i have three gauges to mount and need to find somewhere to put em!!:D :D :D
What size gauges are they mate??!
Chill they are ultralite From Bren, 52mm.
Also mate if u look at the last pic ull see that the trim around the corners is bulging a bit, this is cos i told Bren that the shape had a 10mm corner curve, i was wrong, it is 20mm, u might wanna tell him this if ur goin the same way.
A point though:-
I gave Bren the wrong size, but then realised when it came that this is probably a better way, cos i dont have to bond it in, i just took a stanley knife and ran it round the inside lip of the recess, then eased the plate into the space with the corners tucked into and held by the trim, this means that there is no risk of it falling out, but i can remove it easily if i want to to sort a fault, change a guage or run wiring past this place.
So if u get Bren to amend the size, be aware that u will have to bond it in place.
Vince, i used nissan starburst silver from Halfords.
I did use primer, but it just made it lumpy, so i wet and dried it off then just gave it a couple of coats and it seems ok.
Ive also done all the remaining vents, the door pulls (but left the leccy windae switches black), the panel under the door catches, and also the handbrake bit, but i took it all out and removed the handbrake rubber.
Also i didnt spray the whole centre tunnel, only the smooth bit at the front, i just masked off the rest.
And i left the ashtray black cos the whole idea was to bring a bit more life to the interior by black/silver contrast.
Im happy with it:)
Id advise u to think b4 u go spraying, about what bits u touch most, cos if ur gonna be touching or rubbing a bit alot, ur likely to wear the paint down or scratch it off, thats another reason y i didnt spray the leccy windae buttons, nor the door catch, nor the ashtray
