Pete C

Yeah but I've got to fix the 205 first so I can get it off my parents' drive... and then I've got to fix mine and Jeff's Capri so we can get it off his drive... the list is rather long at the mo :(

The S13 can wait, can't afford the fuel at the moment anyway!

Marc
25-05-2006, 13:02

Will you invite a newbie along? Is there a secret handshake or anything I need to know?

Also was there a meet in bristol last weekend? Saw quite a few SX's out and about round the Brissle area and on the M5.

Cheers

Pah! FMG drove his for months with a blowing gasket... :D

Yeah, but my gasket was blowing before Japfest, now it's virtually non-existent and I've lost at least one of the nuts that holds the turbo on

No I didn't

I drove it without the gasket in question for a few weeks :wack:
Remember the noise when I lent you my WMIC :wack:

Infact, I still have the remains of the gasket in question
Smaller than a 2p :D

I should be there, but as from this eve the 200 is off the road (awaiting activation of credit card so i can pay insurance premium) but if get the relevant paper work in the post i should be back on the road inside two weeks.
For those interested Flux have quoted me £858 FC with wheels sus and exhaust all accounted for, not sure what to do as far as boost controller is concerned as i have given up with the spring and ball boost controler and am convinced greddy Preofec B is the way to go.
Just got to work out the time scale of when im getting it as to weather i include it in the insurance from the get go or amend it later in the policy.

Just hide the profec B under the dash and play dumb to it even being there, pretend you thought it was the headlight level adjuster and couldn't figure why when you turned it one way the car went into light speed.:D :D :wack:

HEHEHE - naughty Tom!

That im sure would be a lot more economical on the wallet, until that us i have an accident and the insurance doesnt pay out and im left looking a bit foolish:indiff:

I might as well do it properly as the quotes i have so far are very competitive, considering last year i payed £1560 for 10months insurance, with wheels declared - (but not covered) and this year im looking at 900ish for stage 1 +wheels and sus on a like for like replacement :D

Nicely
30-05-2006, 17:37
Did you try Sky?

Rich_M
31-05-2006, 14:48
Yes i did they quoted me at £911 and offered an agreed value for my car for an aditional £35 - the policies are both very good, i havent decided which to got for or if Sky will match price on Flux's quote.

Pete C
