No, although elrestoke prison is visible from my folks farm, so near enough lol

Is all the money refundable if the event doesnt go ahead Smiffad? And how many spaces do we need to fill?
I can PayPal it over withing the next few days. You PayPal acc may take a hammering if you have loads of £160's going in though!!

thats why theres 8 ;) its the most were allowed, and allows for you to leave lots of space should you not be too confident on the track, or want to bugger about on the corners :smash:
Money will of course be refunded if the event doesnt happen:nod: i just dont want 5 people dropping out the day before, because then it wont happen!

Maybe (would need to help Smiffad organise this, lots of work!) we could try and group similar cars together so more could go out at the same time?

8's the most were allowed by castle combe ;) i wanted 10... the more we can get out the more track time everyone gets... but alas castle combe saaaaaaays nooooooooo :wack:
This event is fooking ace. 8 on track is :cool: None of that frustrating bunching like on Saturday. With annoying fookers like Parker right behind you trying to get you to overtake on corners... :p

Following people doesn't teach you lines. Certainly not if you followed the line people at Japfest were taking. And particularly the 300ZX I was glued to at this event last year :D All the power in the world couldn't get him away from me when he kept taking the wrong lines through the corners...

Agree with all the comments so far. This is a fantastic event and anyone that thinks otherwise will be missing out :wave:
A small number of cars on track at a time is fab, you can really get a rhythm (sp :confused: ) going out there and not see anyone for several laps at a time :D
I need convincing no more as i have signed up :thumbs:

I have good potential of proper automotive vehicular transport by August ;) , hence my question when I spotted the UJC's utterly pants response :wack:
So I'm quite serious about going if I have my wheels by then Adam :thumbs:

Muppet screening will be at a maximum, its in noones interest, including said muppets to allow them anywhere near a track.

Come on people book up its getting close now
Tis with regret we have had to cencel this, there just hasnt been the up take this year so the decision has been made to cut our losses :(
Those two of you from here who have paid, both have refunds on their way via paypal.
There is a track day at CC on the 16th august, which we plan to go to instead. Its not being run by us, and there will be more cars on track at a time.
Next year we WILL be holding a track day, it will be arranged far in advance though and require payment a few months in advance so we can sort the deposit etc out... so if you fancy coming, plan NOW ;)
Apologies for the let down - we are gutted we wont be having a track day this year :cry:
Bummer :( We'd not booked yet as the Capri is still a bit iffy. Was still planning on coming and was going to PM you about it today :rolleyes:

On the plus side... i wouldnt think it would attract the same "type" as japfest etc, being in the middle of the week id imagine most people there would have a bit of a passion for proper track driving... i could be wrong though.
Only thing ill be burning up will be a BBQ if the weathers nice :rolleyes:
