Saw a few sets of what looked like cameras on the M27 today, one above each lane. Are they speed cameras ?
They're white and look like a CCTV camera with another box next to it (radar ?).

They may be like the ones on the M40, they check your vehicle data (tax, insurance etc). Every so often the plod wait at the next services and pull anyone who pops up on the computer with no tax etc. Last time I was up there I saw about six plod mobiles all waiting at the exit to the services and two more within about two miles who had pulled people over.
The ones on the M27 i think your on about are the traffic master ones.
They all look like speed cameras but aint.

Dunno mate, the traffic master cameras on bridges are only single boxes normally, these things are on each lane and paired. Looks like a camera with something on it, radar or laser possibly :(
