Doing my first proper track Wednesday at Castle Combe, just wondering weather anyone has any tips on the best way to drive round there? lines, braking points ect

I'm there at japfest on track, so I'll be listening into this thread. I think there are some videos of SM driving around, which shuld be pretty bang on for lines etc

Brake either before or just after the top of avon rise after the car has settled, don't brake right on top.
Don't look at how much runoff there is.:wack:

Then Click each corner (well most, grey bits on map) for a "how-to" for braking/line ect :thumbs:
use your mirrors, at least on the 2 main straights, and let someone past who is going round the corners faster than you.
if someone is stuck behind you for nearly 2 laps of a short session on track they're going to be miffed and might do something silly ;)
