1/4 --- 7.51@188.52
1/8 --- 4.81@147.10
60' --- 1.09
Forgot to add this is the result of a built 615cid (10.3L) Chevy Big Block V8 and a 300-shot of Nitrous (single fogger system). This is in a full steel bodied 69 Camaro RS/SS. Run done on full M/T slicks.

So that's your weekend car then is it mate? :)
That's quick... for a 10.3 with Nitrous
Although a 2.6 Skyline with nitrous can do it in not much more ;)

Uhh... skylines take a bit more than just nitrous to get into the 7s my friend. We have yet to add a blower (supercharger) or turbo to the motor :p Its my dad's car but I work on it and drive it.

But easy 8's isn't bad for a turbo'd motor with 1/4 the displacement...
Not that I'm disrespecting 10.something of large nitroused V8!
What's the fuel consumption like? ;) Must make my 25mpg look positively frugal! I suppose it's a cheap as pi$$ in the states, so why not! Believe me, if you had to pay $1.30 per litre for pet... er, gas, you'd not be running a 10.2 V8!

Those are bloody excellent times for an N/A V8! What fuel are you running on? What transmission/rear end are you using?
I thought you'd need an 8-71 s/c on there or something to get those times. Fantastic stuff, I'd love to see some pics, and some more info on your engine. How much do you reckon the engine has cost you to build?

My dad knows all that crap... I think it has 3.73s in the rear now. As far as fuel consumption the car only runs on 104 octane race gas. Which is around $5 a gallon. Car gets about 4 gallons to the mile :D Motor is custom built from a 454 Big Block... bored, stroked, sleeved, etc. etc.
has it been on tv?, if so i think i saw it a fair while back, has all the chrome and glass ect still in it, saw it do daft times without the nitro. just lifted up and bounced down the strip!!!!, fantastic!!!!:D
