View Full Version : No ncd companies
Guys who would u recommend for a 25yo with a few mods;) and no ncd with a claim in january for stolen car?
Ill be having to look in a couple of months.
Kev
Yeah mines due at the end of November, I'm gutted :(
My current insurers were £420 for my old car compaired to £800 - £1200 for other companies(including elephant etc)! I'll be interested in my renewal though now I'm using the 200
Its CIS, I'll get the number tonight if you are interested. I had to get the bloke with his laptop to do the quote round at my house, I don't know if thats the way they always do it, seems a bit funny but the saving speaks for itself.
Dunc.
Im asking this again as i need insurance in the next few days, i hope.

Ive been with HIC (Herts Insurance Consultants) for 3 years and theyve beaten all other quotes by at least £100 every year.
They are fine with any mods apart from ones which affect the engine power. In fact they are that good with cosmetic mods that it doesnt affect the premium at all, just the excess.
If you can, speak to Phil. A good chap and a bit of a geeza, funny as fook.:)

Nope the engine has had nothing bolted to it, it just puts out a somewhat impressive figure for a standard engine.:D
Maybe the previous owner had the head skimmed or something??;)
So thats the route u took Steve.
I told flux about all my mods, but said i turned the boost right down, so no bhp increase.
I done the mods for better reliability....... obviously.
U got a number or a website for them mate?

I've always used them for my VW's cheap as **** but not for the 200, cant remember but it was 1000 or something mad.
Elephant were the cheapest for me by far.
HIC are on 08451 290 290
Arry = happy chappy :)
Kev, if you do a limited mileage policy with HIC they give you 20% off, my quote has just come down from £1450 to £1180 :)
